"Thank you so much for recommending Mack Dryden to us for our Cancer Center Council luncheon on April 26th, 2011. He was hilarious and what a trooper he is! After his flight was cancelled in Dallas and knowing that the other flights were oversold, he rented a car and drove to San Antonio, so he could make it to the luncheon! We were so grateful, as we had no back up speaker in case he did not make it. Mack's program WAS hilarious, but he also addressed the seriousness of cancer and offered choices about how we deal with life "stresses" and at the same time kept us roaring with laughter! He was both uplifting and positive. Mack held the audience in the palm of his hand the entire time he was on stage. Our program ran a little late, but very few people left. Comments I heard later included that they just wish he had joked longer! Also, many commented that Mack proved profanity is not necessary in order to be funny!
